In August, Aerosmith’s announcement that the band was pulling out of the tour due to vocalist Steven Tyler The vocal injury came as a shock to many rock fans around the world, and it went away Tyler bandmates with a lot of free time on their hands. Bassist for Aerosmith Tom Hamiltonhowever, he seems to have found something new to occupy his time: his new band Closed enemies.

In a post on Twitter last Friday: Hamilton paired his first performance with a new project he’s been working on. “Hey, I have to tell you something about a band I play with called Closed enemies“, Hamilton said in the post. “We recorded a bunch of good songs. We will be releasing one soon. Meanwhile, we’re doing a show in Nashville on October 11th at a place called the Eastside Bowl. Please come!!”

in an interview with AARP: last month Hamilton introduced the summary of the other members Closed enemies and explained that the band had already written songs before he joined. “I also play in a band called Closed enemies with my bass technique Trace Foster“, he explained Hamilton. “He plays the guitar along Peter Stroudwho was he playing with? Sheryl Crow For 25 years. It’s our drummer Tony Brockwho had a band that called The children and then they played Rod Stewart For 12 years. We have a great singer called Gary Stier. Our singer Chase Hamptonis a gifted singer who really brought the songs to life. When I joined, these guys had made a bunch of great songs and I was able to contribute what I had. Hopefully when the time comes we’ll develop a few more that I’ve had in my pocket for a while. All of these guys are great musicians and it’s an honor and a challenge to be a part of it all. I can’t wait to see how people like it. I think they will be pleasantly surprised.”
