Childish Gambino kicked off his tour in Oklahoma City on August 11th. About two weeks after the tour, he had to. cancel show in Connecticut “due to production issues” and he had to to stop the show in Houston last night “due to illness”. Including the postponed Texas concert, 16 performances are affected by the musician’s apparent health problems.
Donald Glover announced a new world tour in May ahead of the release of his “definitive” Childish Gambino album. Bando Stone and the New World. He was supported by Willow on the North American leg of the tour.
Glover had planned to begin his European shows, supported by Amaarae, on October 31. Pitchfork has reached out to the artist’s representatives for information on the upcoming shows.
