Guns N’ Roses bassist ahead of Duff McKagan’s Lighthouse Tour ’24 Duff McKaigan released two new tracks, one a cover art David Bowie classic “Heroes” while the other a Duff McKaigan the original is called “True to the Death Rock N Roll Ballad”.
“We thought it would be a good idea to release some fresh songs right here on the eve of the Lighthouse tour,” he said. McKaigan About Instagram post tracks. “Choosing David Bowie’s HEROES seemed like a natural subject for me (I’m a giant history nerd, of course)…star-crossed lovers in the shadow of the Cold War era Berlin Wall in the mid-70s. To try and compliment this era, I chose a 70s one.” kind of glam rock song I wrote some time last year, “Straight From Death Rock ‘n’ Roll THE BALLAD”, another song where love, passion and time are the main characters. We hope you dig this single and thank you all for just being you.”
Bright Bowie cover and the original helping of glam kick off a tour to promote his third solo album Lighthouse. The tour kicks off next week in Dublin, Ireland and swings across Europe before a few dates in the U.S. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
