Florist is back with a new song. “This Was a Gift” follows the New York quartet’s 2022 album of the same name. Listen to the track below. Florist has also announced several October and November concerts. See the band’s tour dates below as well.

Florist singer Emily Sprague said in a press release. “This Was a Gift” is a love song about enduring the difficult times in life with the people we hold dear. He continued. “It’s a musical push and pull that reflects and describes the process of becoming vulnerable to heartbreak and loss, leading to ultimate acceptance and community appreciation. The band evolved and grew with this song over the course of two years of live touring before recording it, deepening the roots of its meaning.”
