Marvel Studios recently announced this Galactus Upcoming will be his live-action debut mcu movie Fantastic Four: The First StepAnd he will be played by actor Ralph Innes. No further details or plot points have been made available, meaning Marvel Studios has plenty of time to decide whether to adapt Galactus’ forgotten origins against his original, as it allows the MCU to use its own current lore backstory.
In a four-episode limited series the hunger By Joshua Hale Fialkov and Leonard Kirk, readers are shown how Its occurrence Age of Ultron On Earth-616 Earth’s Ultimate Universe-1610 is affected. the time Age of UltronThe Avengers used time travel to defeat the killing machine, and in doing so they tore a hole in time and space. This created a rift between Earth-616 and Earth-1610, large enough for Galactus to pass through. Upon entering the Ultimate Universe, Galactus bonded with his Earth-1610 counterpart, Gah Lak Tus, turning him into the Ultimate Powerhouse.
the hunger It details how the Ultimate Universe’s greatest cosmic heroes came together against this ultimate Galactus, but more than that, the story goes into the origins of Gah Lak Tus, the original version of the character on Earth-1610. Gah Lak Tus was a hive of nearly indestructible Android drones that had only one command: use. The Gah Lak Tus swarm aimlessly devoured cosmic planets, using the power they gained from each world to continue this cosmic slaughter. And Gah Lak Tus was created by none other than Cree.
The MCU should use Galactus’ ultimate universe origins and tie his villainy to the Kree.
The Kree Empire is well established as an MCU villain, making this Galactus connection perfect
Although the Kree Empire has not been portrayed as villainous or heroic entities in the original continuity of Marvel Comics’ Earth-616, it has been fully established as a major villain in the MCU. The Kree were villains Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain MarvelAnd Marvelsnot mentioned Agents of SHIELD and its underlying villain sneak attackSince the Kree were responsible for the Skrulls’ desperate situation in the first place.
Using an established villain of the Kree to explain the origins of Galactus would be a brilliant move by the MCU. Kree was introduced to the MCU working with Thanos, after all, so it would be perfect if they paired up with another major antagonist. Plus, being responsible for the creation of Galactus would elevate the Kree Empire’s own position as a major MCU villain, something the MCU has seemingly been building up to all these years, and serve as a fantastic payoff for longtime fans.
Galactus’ Ultimate Universe origin would make him a real villain in the MCU
What many fans were rightly concerned about when considering Galactus’ MCU debut was that he wasn’t actually a villain. On Earth-616, Galactus is tasked with maintaining cosmic balance by consuming the world. He is not evil, but a force of nature that must exist. Gah Lak Tus, on the other hand, was created by the Kree to consume the worlds of the Empire’s enemies, but the hive-mind became ineffective and began to consume all worlds. Gah Lak Tus is not a force of nature, it is an affront to nature, making it a legitimate villain.
By delivering the MCU’s Galactus Gah Lak Tus origin story, the MCU will succeed in expanding the villainous legacy of the Kree Empire that it has been building for over a decade, while also establishing Galactus as a true villain. In other words, Galactus‘ The Origin of the Forgotten Ultimate Universe is a way more appropriate for this mcu than the original
