Resident aliens Season 4 can only start one way, and if it doesn’t, the upcoming run of episodes could be pretty dull. its end Resident aliens Season 3 has placed its characters in varying degrees of danger and/or intriguing situations. As the show goes on, I think it would be worse if it didn’t engage in a trope that is very commonly used in TV shows these days. That may sound like it though Resident aliens Season 4 will be predictable, but I’m of the opposite opinion. Either way, I’m grateful Resident aliens The cast is returning.

Cliffhangers always give me an equal mix of excitement and nervousness. Whenever a show returns after an exciting and inconclusive ending, I’m desperate to keep the story going as I expected. Resident aliens The season 3 finale, “Homecoming,” certainly ticked all the boxes of what I look for in a cliffhanger, but there’s a certain storytelling device that I really hope for. Resident aliens The first episode of season 4 exercises to capitalize on the thrilling conclusion of the previous installment.

Resident Alien Season 4 Will Take a Big Time Jump to Capitalize on Harry’s Imprisonment Story

Harry can’t just sit in a jail cell in the Resident Alien Season 4 opener

The revelation that Harry Vanderspiel was imprisoned at the end of “Homecoming” was a huge twist, especially as the shape-shifting Mantid took his place on Earth. Harry is rarely on the back footAnd I loved how the show made Tudyk’s character so helpless. That being said, if I do I will be very disappointed Resident aliens Season 4 began with Harry’s impromptu escape. Doing so will undo the brilliant development at the end of season 3. Instead, what I would find more rewarding is Resident aliens Season 4 is set shortly after the events of “Homecoming”.

The thought of watching Harry stare at the wall of his cell while his alien doppelganger steals the limelight is very unpleasant to me.

If not a time jump of at least a few months, then One of the few other options was to keep Harry away For a few episodes. As for the show’s main character, this would be a huge loss – not to mention incredibly annoying. Of course, I would still love to see Alan Tudyk act Resident aliensIts new villain, but the thought of Harry staring at his cell wall while his alien doppelganger steals the limelight is too unappealing to me.

Resident aliens
Season 4 will be the first run of episodes since the show switched networks from Syfy to USA.

A time jump would solve this problem. Not only would this prevent me from being forced to watch Harry do nothing for several episodes, but it would also be interesting to see what the Mantid did during that same period. Of course, it’s possible that Harry serves as the show’s narrator for a while from his cell at Grace’s. Star Wars– Moon ships inspired by not physically appearing in the story. I think it might be a good middle ground, but it wouldn’t be my preferred option.

A Resident Alien Season 4 time jump would make the whole show better

The stories of other resident alien characters will be more interesting

Harry isn’t the only character whose story would benefit from a time jump Resident aliens Seasons 3 and 4. Almost every member of the original cast ended “Homecoming” in an interesting development that would be great to see pick up a bit more in the show’s timeline. For example, Judah Prehn’s Max Hawthorne was last seen face-to-face with the MantidAnd I’m sure the disgusting alien will not be happy to be discovered. Questions remain about Max’s safety, and whether he was killed on sight or held captive for months at the end.

I can’t wait to see how Mike processes his encounter with the dead gray alien.

Likewise, I can’t wait to see how Mike processes his encounter with the dead gray alien. While he can’t possibly disprove the existence of extraterrestrial life now, I’m sure a character like Mike would find a way to distract himself from the truth. It’s not yet clear what that will look like. In addition, Liv and Peter “The Alien Tracker” Bach reunite for another exciting plot look Going forward, however, I’d like to see a lot more of them in whatever they’re planning instead of the immediate continuation of their new team-up in “Homecoming.”

How Resident Alien Season 4 Can Avoid a Time Jump (And Still Be Interesting)

Harry had to stay away from Patience if there was no time

Jump if you don’t have time Resident aliensIts immediate future, I could live with if I knew that season 4 would still be entertaining. Harry’s story is the main one. While I’d be disappointed if he ran away from Grace’s ship immediately, running away to somewhere other than Earth would still be an impressive development. Overwhelmed by the challenges ahead, Harry might have thought it more prudent to go and ask for help from other members of the interplanetary community. With Robert Hutchins still in Grace’s giant craft, he could easily help Harry escape again and follow suit.

Alternatively, Harry could try to regain his composureColorado after his release from prison. What would make him exciting is if he crash lands somewhere else on earth and has to slowly make his way back to warn others of the mantid’s presence. This possibility is perhaps a little less promising, as Harry can realistically just come forward and warn Asta and the other townspeople. That being said, there is no reason to believe the others are anyone other than Mantid Resident aliensIts the main character, so there might be some mind games while playing.
