Recently rebooted It dies today broke up with the drummer Nick Miruso. Miruso played back It dies today Between 2002 and 2015 and then again between 2023 and 2024 for their reunion. It dies today states that the split was mutual and they will continue with the drummer John Runkle.
“Hi everyone, wanted to give an update as you’ve been seeing a new face with us lately,” he wrote It dies today in the statement. “We wanted to express our love to our son Nick Miruso. We have decided to mutually part ways as we are starting to back off. Nick: has been an integral part of this band for over two decades, providing the percussive style that helps us achieve success. As in life, things get in the way and we have nothing but love and admiration for our brother as he spends this time with his family.
“So please welcome our brother John Runkle to fill the role on drums, and you’ll hear it on the release of Son of Dawn. John: is one of our best friends and has been a member of our staff for 15+ years. Most of you have probably seen him play with us as he was Mirusosupplement for shows, tours and more. John: has been instrumental in bringing the band back together, has been involved in the writing process of these new songs, and we know you’re going to love what he brings to the table.”
