Jane’s Addiction subsequently apologized for the onstage incident and canceled their September 15th show in Bridgeport, CT. FarrellHis wife also took to Instagram at the time to explain the situation, saying Farrell he was frustrated that the band was too loud and that his voice was being drowned out. Farrell took it off Navarro.
Now, to absolutely no one’s surprise, Jane’s Addiction he went on hiatus and canceled the rest of their tour dates.
“To all the fans, the band has made the difficult decision to spend some time as a band,” he wrote Jane’s Addiction. “As such, they will cancel the remainder of the tour. Refunds for canceled dates will be issued at your point of purchase, or if you purchased from a third-party resale site such as StubHub, SeatGeek, etc., please refer them.”
Navarro, Averyetc Perkins also made their statement saying.
“Due to the ongoing behavior and mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrellwe have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to stop the current US tour.
“Our concern for his personal health and safety, as well as ours, has left us with no choice. We hope he gets the help he needs.
“We deeply regret not being able to meet all of our fans who have already purchased tickets. We cannot see any solution that will either provide a safe environment on stage or reliably allow us to perform on a nightly basis.” :
