An interesting detail about this universe is that it may be the first time The Joker was created in Arkham Asylum. Typically, Joker is manufactured elsewhere, such as at Ace Chemicals. He is sent to Arkham Asylum as soon as he is first seen. The other major difference is that The Joker has no real connection to Batman. While it’s true that he’s only caught in the explosion due to the events surrounding Batman, he has no way of knowing. This Joker may be unique in that he may not be as obsessed with Batman as his usual interpretations.


No matter the universe, the Joker is always scary

The Joker has consistently become one of the scariest villains in Batman’s rogues gallery, both because of his sadistic crimes and just because clowns are generally scary. Whenever the Joker shows up in a new universe, he often has a new design, and it’s always some new kind of nightmare. Very little has been seen about it dark ages version of the jokerBut he’s already left a formidable first impression and is undoubtedly going to be a major threat to Gotham City and Batman.
