By: a kiss guitarist Paul Stanley in an interview with Advertising panelThe 2027 show “besides what other people have come up with. The whole idea of doing a mock concert again is that it’s the dark ages for us.”
When asked how similar it was to what was previewed at their last show at Madison Square Garden, Stanley added: “Well [that was] it was really a double-edged sword because I know there were people who wanted to see or show what was going on behind the scenes, but honestly some of us were in such infancy and still had questions about showing it, how much that it would give people an idea that this is what we do.
“And it’s very, very far from it. It was just an early, I don’t want to say, an early version of what’s to come, and it’s still in development. It’s what it is we were showing was just the beginning of the idea that we could go on beyond flesh and blood.”
This isn’t the first time someone has entered a kiss promised big things from the show. a kiss front man Gene Simmons During the last question-and-answer session of 2023, he said: “They’re going to get better, that animated stuff. There’s so much planned, beyond my imagination. But they’re spending, oh, about 200 million. [dollars] take it to the next level.”
Simmons later mentioned as much during an interview in April 2024 TMZsaying that the show isn’t just a bunch of holograms that will take the proverbial stage and act out what is a movie to the audience.
“It’s not just, ‘Okay, they’re going to be on stage like they used to be. It’s an outdated term. You wouldn’t believe it.’
“We spent some time George Lucas’s place and made the move to capture things in secret. We didn’t talk to anyone about it, the media or anything, because we wanted this to be like no one had ever seen. And I’ll tell you if you’ve seen it ABBA’s show in London, which is phenomenal, then this will be more than you’ve ever seen.
“So the future is here, and with our friends at Pophouse, who are visionaries, we’re going to do things that no band and no musical has done before. Our events are going to be multifaceted, I mean : multi-dimensional. You just won’t believe your eyes, which will be so much larger than life in front of you.
So yes, these a kiss holograms better be amazing!
