The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards took place in Atlanta, and to mark the occasion, the show featured a huge tribute to Jermaine Dupri’s Atlanta institution So So Def Recordings. Dupri was joined in the performance by Ludacris, Nelly, Lil Jon, Da Brat, Chingy, Bow Wow, Bone Crusher, Tyrese, and Dem Franchize Boyz. Watch it happen below.

This year’s show also included performances from City Girls, Sexyy Redd, and Glorilla. There was also a tribute to I Am Hip Hop Award recipient Marley Marl featuring LL Cool J and Rakim, as well as a DJ Drama retrospective with T.I., Jeezy, Lil Jon, and Fabolous.
