Cyclops’ leadership style gets a major update
with much concern
The issue itself perfectly explains why Cyclops can’t be in such a great state of mind. I remind Agent Lundqvist of the Office of National Emergencies (ONE), Cyclops was tortured and executed at the end of the previous Krakoan era By the anti-mutant alliance Orchis. Now, he’s put on a brave face as one of the most prominent public mutants, but he’s just endured massive amounts of trauma and, as usual, internalized it rather than seemingly getting any help.
One is, led by Lundqvist, harassing Cyclops and his team, making it difficult for them to bond with the natives of Merle, Alaska, the town closest to their factory. With Lundqvist breathing down his neck and threatening to reveal mysterious new manifestations of adult mutants introduced to the series, Cyclops has his back to the wall Some people to hang out with. His wife, Jean Grey, is off in space, even as his own brother, Havok, is working as part of a government sponsored team. new The X-Factor series.
The X-Factor
Illustrated by Mark Russell, illustrated by Robert Quinn, colored by Jesus Aburatov and lettered by VC’s Joe Caramagna, this is another key book in Marvel’s “From the Ashes” 2024 X-Men relaunch initiative.
Cyclops is no stranger to stressful situations
panel from The New X-Men By Grant Morrison and Chris Bachalo
This feature of Cyclops is reminiscent of Grant Morrison’s Run On The New X-Men. Morrison had Scott go through a slow-motion mental breakdown, mentally cheating on Jean Gray with Emma Frost, and admitting that he had a hard time relating to Jean. Scott was obsessed with Apocalypse before Morrison’s run, which, like his recent treatment by Orchis, contributed to that particular breakdown. Cyclops Doesn’t seem trauma free, but hopefully, he can find some support for his new self The X-Men Before the pressure of the leadership, the team really gets something wrong.
