This feature of Cyclops is reminiscent of Grant Morrison’s Run On The New X-Men. Morrison had Scott go through a slow-motion mental breakdown, mentally cheating on Jean Gray with Emma Frost, and admitting that he had a hard time relating to Jean. Scott was obsessed with Apocalypse before Morrison’s run, which, like his recent treatment by Orchis, contributed to that particular breakdown. Cyclops Doesn’t seem trauma free, but hopefully, he can find some support for his new self The X-Men Before the pressure of the leadership, the team really gets something wrong.
