The 50th season Saturday Night Live begins Sept. 28, and NBC has announced the hosts and musical guests for the first five episodes of the season.

First, on Saturday the 28th, host Jean Smart and musical guest Jelly Roll. Both are doing their thing Saturday Night Live debuts

Next up, on October 5, comedian Nate Bargatze returns as host and Coldplay are the musical guests. Bargatse made his hosting debut last October in an episode featuring the Foo Fighters. Coldplay was also on Saturday Night Live playing The Astronaut and Fix You in February last year.

On October 12, Ariana Grande returns to the field Saturday Night Live just a few months after doing it Eternal sun songs in the program. This time, however, he will be the host, something he hasn’t done since 2016. The musical guest that night will be legendary Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks, who last performed on the show in 1983.

Michael Keaton will host the October 19 episode and will be joined by Saturday Night Live regular Billie Eilish, who last appeared on the NBC program in December 2023.

Last, former Saturday Night Live The November 2 edition is hosted by writer John Mullaney. The musical guest that night will be breakout star Chappelle Roan.
