Sleater-Kinney have announced an extended version of their new album, A small ropeabout half a year after release. Little Rope (Deluxe) released through October 4 Loma Vista. With this news comes a brand new song “Here today” and its music video, created by an activist art collective In decline. In black-and-white footage, the visual captures the song’s lyrics as they are performed guerrilla-style on the streets and buildings of Los Angeles. Watch below.

In addition to the 10 original songs on the album, Little Rope (Deluxe) includes three brand new songs recorded this year A small rope studio sessions: This Time, Nothing To Lose, and the aforementioned Here Today. An extended LP also boasts Frayed Rope Sessions: EP:— previously released, stripped-down versions of several songs, as well as special live versions of “Hell,” “Say It Like You Mean It,” and “Needlessly Wild,” recorded at The Forum in Melbourne, Australia.

Sleater-Kinney recently gave a speech A small rope cut to Say It Like You Mean It Jimmy Kimmel Live!and also rolled mini-documentary with the orchestra’s own participation Carrie Brownstein and: Corinne Tucker. Their previous studio album, 2021 Path to healthRecorded their first record in 24 years without drummer Janet Weiss.
