SLIPKNOT are gearing up for a 25th anniversary re-release of their self-titled album

Slipknot: he’s out on the road celebrating the 25th anniversary of their landmark 1999 debut album, but that’s not all they have planned. By: Slipknot: percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan in an interview with Metal hammerthere will also be an extensive re-release.

“I’m fully involved in creating the reissue package because I’m the custodian of the band,” he said. A clown. “I’m the one who has kept everything over the years. all DAT tapes [sound]decks from all our first shows, all the tapes from the studio sessions at SR Audio and Indigo Ranch, various test mixes that we gave to other people that we said ‘No’ to at the time that never got released but are amazing :

“They would never have been heard 25 years ago, but now that the golden egg has been laid and everyone knows it, you’re not going to listen to another mix and go, ‘This is better’, you’re just going, ‘Wow, this is Slipknot: so 25 years ago.”

What might be included in a reissue A clown “There’s new artwork, new photographs from the time, so much music that’s so punk rock from the board tapes, there’s video documentation, there’s so much audio, visual, everything. It is the best of all things. Slipknot:“.

It wouldn’t be the first time Slipknot: re-released, but it will certainly be the biggest if anything A clown the above actually comes true.
