Special Interest returns with new song ‘Nothing Grows Here’. Ruth Maschelli of New Orleans mixed the track and it was mastered by Cassian Troyer. Check out the song visualizer made by guitarist Maria Elena below.
Special Interest frontman Ally Logout said in a press statement that the band’s new track is “about stagnation, overindulgence and the moment you decide to face your complacency.” He continued. “It’s about opening up to feel the earth die under your feet. How do we stand and what do we stand for? This is a song about spinning in the moment. The next step. A call to arms.”
Earlier this summer, Logout and DJ and producer Margo XS released two tracks from their deBasement duo, “Front Left Speaker” and “FTDJ (Thank God).
