TikTok has been a major source of conversation lately. But with the fate of the app hanging in the balance, users around the world have taken to TikTok (and other social media platforms) to share what they like about the app.
Now it’s our turn. We love how TikTok lets us learn about dancers and choreographers from around the world—and we got the chance to learn about so lots of amazing dance challenges too. So (while you still can) here are the top 10 accounts to follow.
#1: @smacmccreanor:
Also known as “Hydraulic Press Girl”, this creative artist makes interpretive dances based on hydraulic press videos. Yes, you read that right. I guess you don’t have that on your 2024 bingo card, do you? This account is for anyone who wants to combine their love of dance with their love of… heavy machinery.
#2: @emelinerochefeuille
Jakub and Emmeline take the phrase “dance partners” to a whole new level – they dance so beautifully together that you almost can’t imagine them apart. And, luckily, on their shared TikTok account, you won’t have to. Their page is full of related content that will surely make you swoon.
#3: @dance10fikshunofficial
Dancer Fik-Shun does it all – hip-hop, Latin, breaking, sword fighting, karate. And yes, we weren’t kidding about the last two. Be sure to follow this creator if you want to see a mix of everything (and we mean: everything) on your About You page.
#4: @enola.bedard:
We love watching TikToker Enola dance all over the world – Hollywood, New York, Mexico, Morocco, Abu Dhabi, even on a frozen river halfway between Ontario and Quebec. And we can guarantee you will too.
#5: @jabbawockeez:
We: i know you know Jabbawockeez. But did you know that your favorite dance crew has a TikTok? Their page is full of Jabbawockeez signatures. funky masks, weird choreo and lots and lots of amazing dancing.
# 6@isabellaboylston:
Calling all fools and ballet fanatics. That’s the bill for you. ABT Director Isabella Boylston is: to: ballet TikToker, with content ranging from pointe prep to rehearsal videos to the ultimate ballet step rankings. we love you Cindy:!
#7: @_cairde:
Did we just mention that one of our favorite things about TikTok is being able to watch dancers from all over the world, and we mean whole world? Cairde Dance Group is basically what would happen if you crossed a boy band with Irish dance and we’re not mad about it.
8. @justmaiko:
This creator built a following back in 2020 when TikTok was just a fraction of what it is today. But Michael’s content has only grown since then, and we still love watching him have fun.
#9: @cost_n_mayor:
It’s no secret that we at Dance Spirit: are: pretty big fans of the dance duo Cost n’ Mayor. For us, a TikTok review wouldn’t be complete without our favorite dancing duo. Be sure to follow them for their incredible takes on TikTok trends and comparative (and hilarious) behind-the-scenes content.
#10: @kayceerice:
You have seen Casey Rice danced at the Super Bowl, the Oscars and on “World of Dance”. But have you seen her dancing on TikTok? We love following longtime favorites on social media, and Kaycee’s account is no exception.
