Warning! Spoilers ahead for Ominous word #6!Things are changing fast Green Lantern’s Corner of the DC Universe. There is the Green Lantern Corps Possessed by a madman and it had great influence throughout the cosmos. As Sinestro sets out to straighten things out, he hires two amazing men to look after something important to him.

In Ominous word #6 Peter J. By Tomasi and Vasko Georgiev, Korg, aka Sinson, confronts Sinestro and tells him how Korg believes they are father and son. Sinestro responds by instigating a fight, causing Korg’s frenemy Lor-Zod to come to his defense. However, Korg became enraged when Lor-Zod attacked Sinestro, causing Korg to Tap into the power of the Red Lantern.

Sinestro stops the fight and reveals that he provoked their battle to see if Sinson could access and control the Red Light. satisfied, Sinestro leaves the boys in charge of Koruga’s defense forces as he heads for space.

Korg wanted nothing more than to prove Thal was Sinestro’s son. After overthrowing his guardian, Korg stole a ship belonging to the Lor-Zod, who tried to take it back. Unfortunately for the two boys, the ship was swallowed by a space whale that swept them across the cosmos. After surviving indefinitely in the whale’s stomach, Lor-Zod and Korg were rescued by Sinestro, who later took a small pick. He brought them both to New Korugar in exchange for their help cleaning up after the Yellow Central Power Battery explosion.


Sinestro’s corps is almost non-existent thanks to Lord Premier Tharos blowing up the central power battery. But Sinestro’s greatest loyalty has always been to his people, and he will never leave them without some form of protection. Granted, Lor-Zod has a fraction of the powers of a fully-fledged Kryptonian, and Sinson has learned how to access his Red Lantern powers. But Sinestro just wouldn’t allow it anyone Take care of New Korugar, so he obviously trusts the boys. While they have only just begun leading Koruga’s defense forces, This could be a great opportunity for both of the evil sons.

Korg wants to show Sinestro that he’s got what it takes to be worthy of the family name (even if he’s unsure of their connection). She will not relax when it comes to protecting her father figure’s domain. Although Lor-Zod does not have strong ties to New Korugar, the young Kryptonian is determined to show his father, General Zod, that he does not need the House of Zod to survive on Earth. They may not be accepting green lanternBut as the new leader of Koruga’s defense forces, the Sinister Sons have a golden opportunity.
