Ass Rosary are gearing up for their Oct. 3 performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater, lead composer and songwriter Einar Selvik and the evening’s special guest, Chelsea Wolfediscuss the special outing, their shared admiration for each other’s music, and how they approach songwriting in the newly released interview, which you can check out above.
“I suck at the melody, the visual music” Selvik explained in the interview Frank Godla. “I felt it for the first time Chelsea‘s music was live at Hellfest. I could hear elements of things that I do in my music, or how I like to paint a picture. It actually has this Scandinavian feel to it. I like artists who aren’t afraid to go the way they’re going.”
“Although our music is very different and comes from different worlds, there is still some crossover.” Wolf said about his relationship Rosary‘. “We both bring a sense of theater and spirituality to our live show. I like the idea of bringing the story into the modern world in a completely fresh way, like Rosary does.”
Tickets to a show at Red Rock Amphitheater serving as Rosary‘s only North American performance before the album’s release in 2025, even now on sale.
