He’s such a fun character to write, but… he’s not the hero of the movie. It was difficult to strike the right balance. People love him a lot. It’s called ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ for a reason, so he has to be essential to the movie. It makes you wonder what those scenes are going to be and what his contribution is to the movie It feels incredibly satisfying, and you’ve spent more time with him than you thought.
